Tap the Com Ports tab (at the bottom of 
the screen) and tap on “New Outgoing 
Port” and tap Next to reveal the screen 
shown on the left.  
 
Use the pull-down menu to select the 
COM Port for your device. In this example 
it is COM9.  
 
Leave the Secure Connection un-ticked. 
 
Tap Finish to close the dialogue.  
 
Note: COM4, COM7 & COM8 are 
allocated and should not be selected.  

 

 

 

To check the system in this example - we 
are using SeeYou Mobile as it provides a 
useful Com Port Analyser which you will 
find in: 
 
SeeYouMobile>Menu>Settings>Hardware.
