Stateful Packet Inspection
Your device monitors and limits the access of incoming data traffic from the Internet
with SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection). This allows it to detect and block certain types
of attack from the Internet, such as Denial-of-Service (DoS). A typical DoS attack
involves a remote computer paralysing a system, acting in place of this system and
receiving data intended for this device. With the

Custom

level you can specify your-

self whether you wish to activate SPI on your device and which exceptions should
apply.
