1. DHCP Server Enabled
Choose this option if you want the Wireless Router to assign IP’s to
computers on the network automatically.
Then fill in following:
DNS Proxy:
IP pool from 192.168.8.x to 192.168.8.x:
LAN computers get their DNS server from the Wireless Router
first. The Wireless Router will search the ISP’s DNS automatically.
Whenever there is a request, the
DHCP server will offer unused IP’s from the IP address pool to the requesting
computer.
The end address must be greater than the start address.
Lease time:
Assign fixed IP to MAC:
the assigned IP will be valid during the lease interval.
If there are some computers, like web/E-mail server,
which will be assigned a fixed IP by DHCP server, you can set those computers
with their own predefined IP. Those computers will be identified by their MAC
address.
