7. The flash program is now executing. The message will be
shown on the status window.
8. The system now will be shut down for the program to be suc-
cessfully completed. You may press the power button to restart
your notebook computer.
You can upgrade your memory size to your system for specific
requirements. This section provides an easy step to upgrade your
system.
Please contact your local dealer if you decide to perform component.
To perform these procedure without consulting local dealer or certi-
fied technician may cause damage of your system. The damage of
changing hard disk or installing memory module resulting from users
is not under warranty.
Your notebook computer offers two memory slots using 200-pin SO-
DIMM (Small Outline Dual Inline Memory Module) at least 128MB
DDR SDRAM. One of them is for on board memory module, you can
use another to add and upgrade.
1. Make sure the system is powered off, the battery also is removed
and that no peripheral devices are attached.
2. Turn your notebook computer upside-down and remove the screw
that secures the memory module cover at the underside of your
notebook computer.
3. Lift off the Memory Module cover and place the new memory
module in the slot.
4. Hold the memory module at a 30-degree angle and matching up
the notch along its connector rim with the tooth in the connection
slot.
