FUNCTIONAL FEATURES
The function procedure is as follows:
- press one of the buttons to activate the read circuit, the push-button panel indicates
activation with a dim light on the LEDs in the transponder area and with an acoustic
signal
- approach the proximity key to the reader, the push-button panel indicates code
acknowledgement with an acoustic signal, the flashing of the LEDs on the front
buttons, and an increase in the intensity of the LEDs in the transponder area.
- press the button for the required function, the push-button panel indicates that the
command has been implemented with a prolonged acoustic signal.
The push-button panel is able to detect a low-battery status and send a signal to the
control unit; this signal is also indicated locally with a triple beep followed by a double
beep after a code has been transmitted.
REMOVAL PROTECTION/TAMPER PROTECTION AND PROGRAMMING
The device is not able to send tamper signals to the control unit. If the removal
protection/tamper protection functions are enabled, the device emits a series of beeps
to signal tampering.
The acoustic warning continues for a maximum of 30 seconds or until the batteries are
removed.
When it is powered up again, the push-button panel performs a self-diagnosis test for
about 15 seconds. During this phase, if you sequentially press the total arming and
disarming buttons, it is possible to enter the settings for the following functions:
- Disabling the removal protection option
To disable the removal protection option, the user must press the “Total Arming”
button. The device emits a long beep to notify removal protection disabled, or 4 short
beeps to notify removal protection enabled.
- Disabling the tamper option
To disable the tamper option, the user must press the “Total Disarming” button. The
device emits a long beep to notify tamper protection disabled, or 4 short beeps to
notify tamper protection enabled.
