Installation
First Access to the Web Page
Inserting the IP address in your preferred web browser, you will get into the home-page of the camera
(Live page) and you will see immediately what the camera is framing.
Although it isn’t indispensable, it’s strongly recommended to install a software to visualize the live
stream, to improve the general performance. Between the various browsers available on the market
(iExplorer, Chrome, Firefox Safari, ecc), only iExplorer can support the native MPEG4 stream
(installing our Activex control).
The other browser
can support only the ‘Stream M-JPEG’ and the Snapshot JPEG’ and although they
can permit you to see what the camera is framing, this generate a great network traffic, decreasing
the general performance.
If you already installed the ActiveX control (provided by the camera), using the iExplorer browser, at
the first connection, the camera will try the most efficient solution to see the live stream: the
ActiveX_ViewCAMx ; so, accept the use of this component .
