Expanding Your Computer
Using Storage Cards
NOTE:
You can use only storage cards. Your SD card reader does not
support cards with I/O (input/output) functions such as a wireless network
card or Bluetooth card.
Your computer has an SD card reader. The card reader is a small drive for
reading from and writing to removable storage cards (or called memory
cards). The card reader supports SD (Secure Digital), SDHC (Secure Digital
High Capacity), and SDXC (Secure Digital eXtended Capacity) cards.
To insert a storage card:
1.
Locate the SD card reader on the left side of the computer.
2.
Align the card with its connector pointing to the slot and its label facing
up. Slide the card into the slot until it reaches the end.
3.
Windows will detect the card and assign it a drive name.
To remove a storage card:
1.
Double-click
My Computer
.
2.
