Bringing into service – starting, operation and testing

Before bringing into service, check that the PRS 50 blowdown timer and all equipment
is correctly connected.

Next, switch on the supply voltage.
Starting

The display is on and the LEDs
light up briefly.

t-02 = equipment type PRS 50
System test, takes approx. 3 seconds
Valve output contact 17/18 open.
Alarm output contact 19/20 open.
Countdown of two-minute
remaining runtime until inter-
mittent blowdown after startup.
Configuration:
Standby function.
No input active.
Display:
Remaining runtime = mm.ss
Valve output contact 17/18 open.
Alarm output contact 19/20 closed.
The remaining runtime
has elapsed. Blowdown after
startup is initiated.
Display:
Remaining runtime until next
intermittent blowdown.
Valve LED = On
Valve output contact 17/18 closed.
Alarm output contact 19/20 closed.
