Service Manual 4-6 REPAIR AND ADJUSTMENTS
ADJ 1.3 FRONT RULE
Purpose
Adjust through the Front Rule the paper infeed if there’s skew.
Adjustment
Perform bit adjustment (only few mm at a time). Anyway, refer to the
horizontal position as default.

ADJ 1.4 INFEED GROUP PARALLELISM
Purpose
Before to perform the Adjustment 1.3 check the parallelism between the infeed group both
side and the printer exit.
Adjustment
Perform the parallelism adjustment Acting firstly on left attaching bracket to
obtain equal distance from both side, if not sufficient acting on right side too
Adjust the height rule
on the right side
through the screw
Skew located on
the right: lift up
the rule by
screwing counter
clockwise
Skew located on
the left: rise down
the rule by
screwing
clockwise
