8.  Enabling Host Monitoring 

 

You can remotely enable the monitoring function on host using GV-Edge Recording Manager.   

 

Note:

 This function is only available for GV-IP Devices. 

 

Enable Monitoring for a Single Channel 

Right-click a live view from the Live View Window, and then select 

Monitoring

. Select the 

same option again to disable.   

 

   

The monitoring and recording status is indicated by the color of device name on the Live View 

Window: 

Channel Color 

Monitoring & Recording Status 

 

Not under monitoring 

 

Under monitoring but not being recorded 

 

Under monitoring and is being recorded
