Taking Care of Lithium Battery
§
The battery lifetime will be depended on the storage or operating environment
§
For first time usage, it doesn’t need to charge the battery for 8-12 hours.
§
Re-charging the battery anytime will not harm the battery, it is recommended to
recharge the battery when the battery level is drop to 30%
§
When the battery is drop to 0%, it is strongly recommended to recharge the battery
immediately, in order to avoid battery degrades substantially, and couldn’t be used.
§
Please don’t store the batteries at a place where temperature greater than 60
degrees Celsius, such as car garage, etc.
§
When storing the batteries, please put at storage where temperature is below 40
degrees Celsius and in dry condition,
§
Please don’t overcharge the battery for more than 12 hours.
§
If the battery will not use for a long time, for example 2-3 years, it would be better
to remove it from GT-HR
The current battery capacity of GT-HR is displayed in percentage when “measurement”
option is selected. The readout has an internal IC which controls the flow of electrical
current during re-charging. For prolong battery life, the electrical output current is
maintained at 500mA/HR, thus, the fastest charging process is approximately 1.5 hour for
fully re-charging the battery. The supply voltage for charging is 5V. The device has a charge
light to indicate when the battery is fully charged.
