CANCEL MEMORY VALUES
· Pull and hold the trigger in the LOG function and select DOWN.
· Continue holding the trigger and press the button for the backlight until a beep sounds. The lower
display shows „----“. Now all values are cancelled.
MEASUREMENTS WITH K-TPYE PROBE
With the thermometer measurements with an IR sensor and with all common K-Type probes can be
executed. Therefore plug in the probe supplied with the kit into the socket of the instrument (3). Power
on the instrument and the display will show „TK“ in the lower left angle. If you now pull the trigger
the display will show the temperature measured with the IR sensor in the centre and the temperature
measured with the probe beneath the IR value.
Note
Do not measure objects that are electrified. With the probe you can only measure up to the maximum
temperature allowed for the probe.
USB DATA TRANSFER
· Connect the thermometer to a PC.
· Pull the trigger to power on the instrument. Activate the MAX/MIN/DIF/AVG mode and press the
button for the backlight illumination until the display shows USB in the lower right corner.
· Start the PC (with Windows® 98 or higher). Connect the instrument and the PC with the USB cable
enclosed (the USB plug is on the left side).
· The PC will automatically recognize the instrument. Insert the software CD into the CD drive and
follow the installation instructions. Let the PC search automatically for the corresponding driver.
· Start the software when the installation is completed. Now the values measured can be transferred
to PC.
· Deactivation of the USB interface: Press the button for the backlight illumination in the MAX/MIN/
DIF/AVG mode until the USB symbol disappears.
TRIPOD
Screw the tripod into the thread on the bottom of the handle.
