Ignition Switch Operation
1. Open the Anti-theft ignition cover ( 1 ) by inserting the
hexagonal portion of the key fob and turning to the right.
Insert the key and select ON ( 2 ), OFF ( 3 ), OPEN ( 4 ), or
LOCK ( 5 )
2. Turn key to ON position ( 2 ) to operate the vehicle. The
vehicle will have power and the engine can be started. In
this position, the key cannot be removed.
3. Turn key to OFF position ( 3 ) to cease vehicle operation.
In this position, all vehicle power will be off, the engine will
not run, and the key can be removed.
4. From OFF position ( 3 ), turn key left to OPEN ( 4 ). The
seat will unlatch. Lift seat to access the under-seat storage
compartment.
5. Turn handlebars fully to the left. With the key in the OFF
position ( 3 ), press key inward toward front of the scooter
and turn key left to LOCK position ( 5 ). The fork is now
locked, and the handlebars cannot be turned as a theft-
deterrent. The key can be removed in the LOCK position.
LOCK your vehicle whenever you leave it unattended.
Close Anti-theft cover ( 1 ) using hexagon portion on the
key fob to prevent ignition switch tampering.
