Principali caratteristiche del polarity switch / Main characteristics of the polarity switch

Il polarity switch è un invertitore di polarità
utilizzabile con qualsiasi saldatrice, avente la
tensione a vuoto di saldatura compresa fra 60 V e
80 V e la massima corrente di saldatura non
superiore a 500 A. Necessita di una alimentazione
ausiliaria di 230 V.

The polarity switch is a polarity reverser who
can be used with any engine driven welders
having the striking voltage from 60 V to 80
V and the maximum welding current lower
than 500 A. The polarity switch needs an
auxiliary power of 230 V.

Il polarity switch è dotato di un comando a
distanza composto da un selettore di polarità, da
una spia luminosa e da un potenziometro di
regolazione della corrente di saldatura utilizzabile
su tutte le saldatrici Gen Set predisposte per la
regolazione a distanza della corrente di saldatura.

The polarity switch is equipped with a remote
control composed of a polarity selector
switch, a led and a welding current control
which can be used on all Gen Set engine
driven welders foreseen for the remote
setting of the welding current.

L’inversione di polarità avviene unicamente con
corrente di saldatura nulla ; pertanto un comando
di inversione dato a saldatura attivata sarà
ignorato fino al termine della saldatura stessa.

The reverse of the polarity is due to the
missing of the welding current only therefore
a reverse control during the welding will not
be known untill the end of the same welding.

L’attivazione dell’invertitore è segnalata
dall’accensione della spia luminosa. Durante il
tempo di accensione della spia luminosa si devono
evitare contatti elettrodo - massa, in quanto
potrebbero danneggiare l’invertitore. Lo
spegnimento della spia luminosa indica il
completamento dell’inversione di polarità.

When the led is on the switch is active.
During the starting of the led it is better to
avoid any contact with the electrodes as the
same to prevent any damage to the reverser.
The shutdown of the led shows the end of the
polarity reverse.
