Getting started
Check if the following items are in the giftbox
• GMC-TK01-P2110
• Power adapter
• Unit label
Setting up the GMC:
• Make sure that the FTU is placed within
150cm of a power socket.
Important: It is crucial these next steps
be completed in one go. Failure do to so
will result in damage to the fibre optic
connector and cause signal degradation.
Remove dustcap
The fiber patch cover houses a green fiber
connector.
1. Remove the black dustcap from the end of
the connector.
Install patch cover
The fiber connector on the FTU is protected
by the blue shutter (shown below).
This shutter retracts automatically as the
patch cover is slid on.
