WARNING:

INSTALLING THE ANTI-KICKBACK PAWLS
NOTE:
The splitter (1) needs to be in working position to
install the anti-kickback pawl assembly.
1. Raise the blade to the highest position and set bevel at 0°.
Make sure the bevel is locked tight.
2. Place the anti-kickback pawl assembly over the "keyhole"
slot (4) on the splitter (1). Depress the plastic cap (3) on
the lock pin (5) in the direction shown on FIG 8-A, Rotate
the lever (7) downwards, and make sure the lock pin fully
engages the slot (4). See FIG 8-C
4. Release the plastic cap (3) to secure. See FIG 8-C. Make
sure there is no movement of the anti-kickback pawl
assembly.
To un-install the anti-kickback pawl assembly. Depress the
plastic cap (3) on the lock pin (5) to release. Rotate the lever
(7) downwards, Pull and remove the assembly off the splitter.
INSTALLING THE BLADE GUARD (FIG 9,10)
1. Position the blade guard assembly (5) over the "L" shaped
slot (3) on the splitter so that the pin (1) engages the slot
(3) completely. See FIG 9.
2. Place the blade guard assembly down on the splitter.
Depress the silver lock button (2).
3. Slide the blade guard assembly backwards and push it
downwards with a little force so that the lock pin engages
fully into the slot 4.
4. Release the silver lock button (2) to secure. See FIG 10.
MITER GAUGE INSTALLATION (FIG 11)
The miter gauge is pre-assembled at the factory. To install it,
simply slide miter gauge guide into the miter gauge groove on
the saw table as shown in FIG. 11.
NOTE
:
There are two miter gauge grooves, one on either
side of the blade. When making 90° cross cut, you may use
either of the grooves. When bevel cutting, use the groove on
the right side so that the blade is tilted away from the miter
gauge and your hand.
MITER GAUGE ADJUSTMENT (FIG 12)
To adjust the miter gauge angle
, loosen miter gauge
lock handle (1) and rotate the miter gauge body (2) so that
the "0" mark on the end of the sliding bar points to desired
position. Then tighten the lock handle. See FIG 12.
