1 Release and remove the clips from the air filter cover ( 1 ).
2 Take off the cover and the air filter from the inside ( 2 ).
3 Clean the air filter using a soap and water solution ( 3 ). Let it dry completely.
4 With the air filter very dry, immerse in oil of the same type of the engine ( 4 ).
5 Squeeze the air filter by hand until all excess of oil is drained ( 5 ) (to avoid
the production of smoke).
6 Once cleaned and drained ( 6 ), reinstall the oil filter, placing also its cover
and clips.
