GEM Owner’s Manual - Page 15

The battery packs are high voltage and could cause serious or
fatal injury if not handled properly.

Only qualiﬁ ed technicians

should handle or service this vehicle.

WARNING!

• Batteries contain acid, which can cause severe burns. If battery ﬂ uid

comes in contact with your skin, ﬂ ush the affected areas with water
for at least 15 minutes and then seek medical assistance.

• Internal ingested: Get medical assistance as soon as possible.
• Contact with eyes: Flush with water and get medical assistance

as soon as possible. While you are being driven to get medical
assistance, continue to rinse your eyes by using a sponge or soft
cloth saturated with water.

Things to Know Before You Operate Your Vehicle

When checking the electrolyte level in ﬂ ooded batteries,
be careful to never touch the battery terminals.
