1. Remove the actuator (see chapter "Removing the actuator
from the distance piece").
2. Undo the cap nuts

WAF 8
open-end wrench on the wrench surface
of the valve spindle

(do not damage the spindle surfaces
in the process).
6. Simultaneously, position a
WAF 16
open-end wrench on
the support ring

. By counterholding both open-end
wrenches, carefully release the support ring

with the
regulating cone

from the valve spindle

7. Hold the support ring

in place and release the regulat-
ing cone

using the assembly tool. Do not damage the
regulating cone surface in the process.

8. Remove the O-ring

from the regulating cone

9. Carefully remove the solvent cement from the thread on
the regulating cone

(e.g. using a stainless steel brush).

Do not damage the regulating cone surface in the pro-
cess.
