Interval
Maintenance work
Regularly (before use, at the
start of the working day)
▶ Check the pressing tool and mains cable for externally
visible defects and damage that could affect safety.
▶ Clean and lubricate the pressing tool.
▶ Clean pressing attachments and check for defects, partic-
ularly for cracks in the material.
▶ Lubricate the pressing attachments. → See user manual
for the Geberit pressing attachments in question.
Every six months
▶ Have an authorised repair shop perform a test for safety-
related defects or damage. However, this metrological
measurement does not replace any country-specific
regulations and legislation that might prescribe further
checks and maintenance work.
After two years at the latest,
in accordance with the
information on the service

▶ Have an authorised repair shop check the press capacity
and the state of wear.
Cleaning and lubricating the
Geberit pressing tool

Never clean the pressing tool
with water or other liquids.

Disconnect the mains plug.

Clean the roller drive, roller drive
guide and retaining pin of the
pressing tool.

Use a brush to remove dirt.
CAUTION
Harmful substances

Observe the safety notes of
the lubricant used.

Lubricate the roller drive, roller drive
guide and retaining pin with
BRUNOX® Turbo-Spray®.
5
Wipe away excess lubricant using an
absorbent cloth.
