To accurately test a thermistor, place the 

thermistor in a glass of ice and water (approximately 
33°F) for several minutes and check for 
approximately 16k ohms.

and the freezer air thermistor is located on the right 
hand side wall (see the Component Locator Views

The procedure to replace a fresh food air thermistor

ensure proper grille placement. The grille also uses 
two snap tabs to lock it into the liner.
