10.5.6 Removing the Upper Valve Disk

Fig.17

Carry out the following steps:

Unscrew the switch bar (139).

Release the clamp connection (46) but do not remove it.

Place an open end spanner on the spacer nut (10), use a strap wrench to turn
the actuator and release the valve disk.

Unscrew the valve disk together with the bearing disk (4), bearing (2), gasket
(1) and sealing washer (3).

Unscrew the spacer nut (10) from the valve disc using 2 open-ended
wrenches.

Slide off the bearing disk with bearing and the sealing disk with sealing ring
from the valve disk.

Remove the clamp connection (46) between the lantern and the actuator.

Remove the lantern.
