The main control board is positioned on the lower
portion of the support structure. To access the control
board, duct covers must be removed on both models.
Reach into the motor compartment and locate the
ON/OFF switch on the side of the motor. Press switch to
OFF position.
Remove Duct Covers to Access Main Control Board
• Remove the 2 screws at the top
of the upper duct cover. Slide
the upper duct cover down.
• Remove duct covers by lifting
straight up and off.
Set duct covers and
screws aside.
NOTE: Duct cover edges are
sharp. Do not tilt the duct
covers away from the hood,
they will scratch the wall
behind it.
NOTE: Be careful
when removing
screws and duct
cover pieces. Do not
lose the cage nuts
on the inside pieces
of each duct piece.
• Remove 3 screws
on each side of the
bottom dust cover.
• Gently press in at
the side seams to
disengage the
front piece. Lift
front piece off,
then lift rear panel
off.
ZV900 Wall Mount Hood
Use a small flat blade screwdriver to pop the top trim
strips out of the track on both sides.
• Remove screw and duct holding bracket on each side.
• Press in on the lower trim strips to lift the hooks out of
the slots on the duct cover.
• Remove 2 top screws. Slide
the duct covers down.
Remove 3 screws on each
side and lift off front piece
and then rear piece.

Reverse these steps to replace the duct covers.
