Access to Display Board, Motor, or Mini-Manual
The mini-manual is located behind the duct covers,
on the front and left side of the motor/blower housing.
To view the mini-manual, the duct covers must be
removed. See page 5 for instructions to remove the
duct covers.
You can access the display board from the top, and the
motor from below, without taking the hood down or
removing the duct covers.
CAUTION:
Wear gloves to protect against sharp edges when
performing any procedure shown here.
Service Information
The safety ON/OFF switch is located behind the filter(s)
and next to the motor. This switch controls power to the
entire hood.
• Remove the metal filter by grasping the handle, press
inward and pull down.
NOTE:
The filter can be reversed, with the handle on the
opposite side.
If the hood is installed for recirculating operation, a
charcoal filter will be present.
• Release the charcoal filter by removing thumbscrews
on each side of the charcoal filter.
These hoods must use WB02X11269 replacement
charcoal filters.
• Reach into the motor compartment and locate the
ON/OFF switch. The light glows red when power is on.
Press to turn the power off. Power is off when the red
light goes out.

• Unplug the bottom
connector from the
hood motor.
• Remove 2 screws
on each side of
the blower.
• Slide the motor
back and out of
the keyhole slots.
