External Prefilter

Pres s RED button on top of housing to releas e air until
water flows from button as air m ay be trapped in hous ing.
Replace External Prefilter cartridge if water press ure has
been gradually decreas ing as the External Prefilter m ay
be plugged or fouled. Refer to

Water does not flow through
Water leaks from bottom Check Mini Ball Valve on bottom of hous ing. Clos e tightly.
Does not drain fas t enough
Controller
Check if the trans former is connected and plugged in.
Depres s red button on hous ing to drain quickly.
Drain Solenoid Valve
Using the Controller, initiate a manual flus h sequence.
Refer to Controller Functions s ection under
D.
OPERATIONS
on how to perform a m anual flus h
s equence and ens ure button on controller is pres s ed for
a full 5 s econds . A buzz sound s hould be heard from the
Drain Solenoid Valve. Contact your Dealer to replace
valve if neces sary.
Inlet Solenoid Valve
(with Surface Water

Doesn't clos e to allow Sys tem to
drain
Does not open to allow flus hing
Check trans form er is plugged in.
Check if the Drain Solenoid Valve functions . Check
connection to Controller is correct and initiate a m anual
flush to hear a buzz s ound. Refer to
Controller Functions
under D. OPERATIONS .

Flus hing and/or draining of
Sys tem does not work
Check if both the Inlet Solenoid Valve functions , if
ins talled, and if the Drain Solenoid Valve functions . On
the Controller, pres s NEXT once. Sim ultaneous ly pres s
MANUAL FLUSH and the up arrow together and hold for a
full 5 seconds . A buzz s ound should be heard from both
the Inlet and Drain Solenoid Valves . Contact your Zenon
Dealer if neces s ary.
On the Controller, press NEXT once. Sim ultaneous ly
pres s MANUAL FLUSH and the down arrow together and
hold for a full 5 s econds . A buzz s ound s hould be heard
from the Inlet Solenoid Valve. Contact your Dealer to
replace valve if neces sary.
Check trans form er is plugged in.
