Installation Instructions
Step 1
Unpack and inspect the ICR.
Open the shipping box and inspect the ICR for any shipping damage. Please
contact GE Analytical Instruments immediately if there is any damage.
Step 2
Prepare the analyzer.
Prior to installing the ICR, do the following:
1. If the Analyzer is taking measurements, press the Stop Analysis button.
2. Turn off power to the Analyzer, using the main power switch.
3. Disable the sample inlet flow to the Analyzer.
4. If you have previously installed the Analyzer, disconnect the sample fittings.
You will need access to the bottom of the Analyzer during installation.
Step 3
Attach the Small Bracket to the Analyzer.
Secure the mounting bracket to the Analyzer with the two large Phillips-head
(crosshead) screws. The small bracket attaches to the bottom of the Analyzer.
When you view the bottom of the Analyzer, you will see two threaded holes
around the rear left foot. There is a rectangular notch in the mounting bracket
to accommodate the rubber Analyzer foot (see Figure 1
).
Step 4
Attach the ICR to the Large Mounting Bracket
1. Place the ICR on the large mounting bracket, using the white set pin to align
the bracket. The bracket is designed to sit on top of the set pin and two
screws located on the bottom of the ICR.
2. Secure the mounting bracket to the ICR with the two small Phillips-head
screws (see
Figure 2
).
