Replacing the Base Cover
This procedure applies to all trolley styles.
Remove the base from the trolley as instructed in “Replacing the Trolley Base” on
page 26 .
1. Use a #25 Torx screwdriver to remove the 4 Plastite screws that secure the
base cover to the base.
Retain the screws for later reattachment of the base cover.
2. Replace the base cover with the new cover.
3. Using a #25 Torx screwdriver, insert the 4 Plastite screws that secure the base
cover to the base.
Replacing Casters on the Modular MAC Trolley
This procedure applies only to the Modular MAC Trolley. For instructions on removing
the casters from the MAC 1600 Trolley, refer to
“Replacing Casters on the MAC 1600
Trolley” on page 29 .
Before removing the base, remove the MAC unit and accessories from the trolley. See
“Removing the MAC Unit from the Modular MAC Trolley” on page 22 for instructions
on replacing the MAC unit to the Modular MAC Trolley.
For this procedure, you will need a M6 hex key.
To remove the casters from the Modular MAC Trolley, use the following procedure
to replace the casters:
1. Carefully lay the trolley flat on its back on a smooth, padded surface.
This will avoid scratches or other damage to the trolley.
2. Remove the base from the column.
