The Mini Field Agent is rebooted.
Changing User Password
On installing and configuring the Mini Field Agent, the user may
change the password, specific to their facility. This is a
recommended, but optional change.
1.
Using PuTTY, in the
Host Name
field, enter:
•
192.168.101.2
2.
Verify that the port number is 22.
3.
Click
Open
.
4.
The Mini Field Agent uses Linux. Log onto the Mini Field Agent
using the Linux root login account.
•
Enter the Login:
root
•
Enter the Password:
MrootMfa0210
After typing the password, press
Enter
.
5.
To change the password, enter:
•
passwd
6.
Type the new password and press
Enter
.
There are no specific password requirements or
recommendations. However, if the system does not accept the
entered password, modify as required. It is recommended to
keep the passwords safe.
