Care and cleaning of the oven.
Charcoal Filter
The charcoal filter cannot be cleaned.
It must be replaced. Order Part No.
WB02X10943 from your GE supplier.
If the model is not vented to the outside,
the air will be recirculated through a
disposable charcoal filter that helps
remove smoke and odors.
The charcoal filter should be replaced when it
is noticeably dirty or discolored (usually after
6 to 12 months, depending on usage). See
“Optional Kits,” page 7, for more information.
To Remove the Charcoal Filter
WARNING!
To avoid personal injury or property damage,
do not operate oven hood without filters
in place.
Unplug the oven or turn off power
at the main power supply.
Remove the two vent grille mounting
screws (2 middle screws).
Tip the grille forward, then lift out
to remove.
Remove the old filter.

To Install the Charcoal Filter
WARNING!
To avoid personal injury or property damage,
do not operate oven hood without filters
in place.
Slide a new charcoal filter into place.
The filter should rest at the angle shown.
Slide the bottom of the grille into place.
Push the top until it snaps into place.
Replace the mounting screws. Turn
the power back on at the main power
supply and set the clock.
