Belt Switch (Idler Switch)

A belt switch, activated by the idler arm, is fastened to the motor bracket by
2 screws. Should the drive belt break, the belt switch will open

the drive

motor circuit, interrupting dryer operation.

Note:

The drum lamp will operate with an open belt switch.
