low-tone beep

allowed
Many of the oven’s features are preset
and cannot be changed.

cooktop below
This is normal.
There are sparks in the
oven (arcing)
• Metal or foil touching the side of the oven.
• Turntable ring support not installed correctly.
• Foil not molded to food (upturned edges act like
antennas).
• Metal, such as twist-ties, poultry pins, or gold-rimmed
dishes, in the microwave.
• Recycled paper towels containing small metal pieces
being used in the microwave.
• The metal rack (on some models) not installed
correctly so it touches the microwave wall.
Verify the turntable ring support and
(if applicable) metal rack are installed
correctly. Remove other arcing sources
from the oven.
