Setting up the monitor before use

Checking the PDM battery status

1.

Select the battery status area in the upper right corner of the screen, or select

battery status view

opens automatically.

Check the battery status information.

If the B450 has two batteries inserted, there are two columns,

, that show

information for each battery.

If you wish to see more detailed battery information, select the

Advanced

tab.

Setting the touchscreen off

You can set the touchscreen feature off for 30 seconds at a time when you need to
clean the screen. The countdown timer appears on the screen.

Touchscreen Off

.

3.

To enable the touchscreen, press any monitor hardkey or use the Trim Knob, or
press

Cancel

in the

Touchscreen Off

display for three seconds.

B850 with several screens

You can define the screen settings for several screens with the B850. For instance, you
can select which applications they show, do they show menus and/or alarms etc.

Other setup changes

All other setup changes, like care unit settings and profile settings, require a password.
