Introduction to troubleshooting
Introduction
This section describes troubleshooting procedures for ÄKTA avant and how to generate
a System error report for service purposes. Subsequent sections in this chapter present
general troubleshooting checklists, module-specific problems and corrective actions.
Troubleshoot the software
For software related troubleshooting, see the following table and the list of literature
below:
Possible cause and action
Problem
The operating system of the computer does not have
the text font Calibri True Type installed. For example,
Windows XP does not include this font by default.
Text in the Process Pic-
ture pane in the System
control module looks
strange
Install the font Calibri True Type or switch to an operating
system that includes the font.
