Locate the exact position of the lithium coin battery on the CPU PCB

Figure 3: Battery location on CPU PCB

4.

Gently remove the battery. If necessary, use a small insulated screwdriver.

5.

Make sure the metal terminals in the battery socket are free from corrosion, grease and dust.

6.

Remove the replacement battery from its packaging and insert it in the battery holder,
ensuring correct polarity. Orient the lithium coin battery so that the positive (+) side is visible.
