VOLUME UP/DOWN
Changes the volume
level of the product,
normally the TV.
NUMBERS
Enter numbers for direct
channel selection. Some
products require ENTER to be
pressed after channel selection.
OK
Selects menu
items for the device
you are controlling.
CHANNEL Up/Down
Changes the channels.
SKIP +/-
controls DVD/CD
track selection i.e. DVD/CD
Track Skip Up/Down (in
DVD and CD modes).

INPUT
For some TVs, press repeatedly to
select from available viewing sources
(antenna, cable box, VCR, etc.).
Shift
Press and
release to access
buttons labeled in red
(red indicator stays on).
Press again to exit
Shift mode.
Note: The
REC
button must be pressed TWICE to
record from your VCR. For some brands of VCRs, you
might need to press the
REC
button once, then press it
again for three seconds.
INFO
button brings up DVD
Display or Control Menu for
Chapter/Track/Title number,
Time remaining/elapsed,
system information, etc.
Menu
Press and release
Shift
then
Menu
to display the menu
on the TV. The red LED is on
continuously to indicate the
remote is in Menu mode, VOL
UP/DOWN keys operate as
cursor right/left, CH+/- keys
operate as cursor up/down,
and Mute operates as OK.
Press Sleep/Exit key to exit
Menu.
TITLE
Brings up the DVD
Title Menu screen.
ON-OFF
Turns
product On or Off.
RECORD, PLAY, STOP, REW, FF, PAUSE
VCR
control buttons operate your VCR even when the
remote is set to operate the TV. Also operates
DVD Scan -/+. Note the VCR keys also control
DVD when in DVD Mode.
CC (SUBTITLE)
TV Closed
Caption (if your
TV has this
feature) or DVD
Subtitle toggle.
Some buttons on the remote might have functions that
are referred to by different names on the device you are
controlling. E.G.
PREV.CH
may be called RECALL, or
ENTER
may be called DISPLAY. These differences
depend on the brand and model of your product. Also,
this remote can only operate features that exist on your
product. E.G., your product must have
PREV.CH
ability
for the
PREV.CH
button to operate this feature.
ENTER
For some TV models,
used after direct channel
number entry to immedi-
ately change to the
selected channel.

For setup.
Red Indicator
Lights when any

PREV.CH
Returns to
the previously selected
channel, or DVD repeat

REPEAT

Chapter or Track.
GUIDE
displays satellite
or cable on-screen
program guide.
