3.2.5 Modification knob
The
Modification knob
controls the scroll bar/cursor or sets values within a menu. Herewith, time,
frequency, and surge parameters can be set.

/ Change slope
1. Press the
Softkey
[Detail view].
2. In the detail view press the
Softkey
[Change slope].
3. You can select the desired setting with the
Modification knob
.
4. The graphic bar on the display shows the intensity ratio of the upper to the lower cut-off frequency in %.
You can vary the ratio between 10% and 200%.
5. Return to the general view through the
Channel key
(blinking).
3.2.7 Surge parameters
All
SimulFAM
X
types of current can be surged individually by a surge cycle. The three surge parameters
Rise time
Duration time
Pause time
determine a surge cycle. Each surge parameter can be changed within 0 to 60 s in steps of 1 s. The descent
time in a surge cycle is always set on 1 s constantly.

3.2.8 Setting of the surge parameters
1. Select a channel with the
Channel key
.
2. The
Function keys
"Surge parameters" are constantly lit
they are active.
3. Press
Function key
[Pulse rise time].
4. You get the detail view automatically.
5. Select the desired rise time with the
Modification regulator
.
6. Set the parameters for the duration and pause time as described in point 3 - 6.

Note!
If one surge parameter is turned to
„0“
seconds, also the remaining surge parameters are adjusted to
„0“
automatically. If one surge parameter is increase once again, the remaining surge parameter are
automatically set to
„1“
second.
