Work with a mobile application
Features of use
The mirror with DVR is equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi module, which
allows you to connect it to the smartphone and adjust and view the
video through the application.
To connect your smartphone to the DVR, do the following:
• Install Gazer Dashcam on the smartphone from the AppStore or
Google Play.
• Go to the Wi-Fi settings and connect to the «Gazer-XXX» network. The
default password is 12345678.
• Then launch the Gazer Dashcam application, the DVR will connect
automatically. In case the DVR does not connect automatically, click the
Connect button on the main page of the application and scroll through
the connection prompts.
Recommendation: We recommend changing the default password
before using the device. To do this, use the appropriate item in the
application with the connected DVR.
Preview, view and download media
Preview:
After connecting the mirror at the top of the screen, the current video
from the recorder will immediately begin to appear. Use the
button to
switch between the cameras. To view the entire frame, expand the video
to the full screen with the appropriate button
.
Viewing photos and videos:
To view the photos and videos stored on the mirror with DVR, you must
first turn off the recording by pressing the corresponding button under
the video frame, then open the viewing page by clicking on the button .
The browse page at the top contains a switch that allows you to select the
required storage (local store of smartphone or SD drive in the DVR).
On the viewing page there are 3 tabs in which you can find Video, Photo
and also Protected files taken by pressing an alarm button or by triggering
the G sensor.
