Rain cover for Makki
Components
*) These components are attached to the Rain cover.
Safety instructions
•
Please carefully read this user manual and, in par-
ticular, the safety instructions before mounting the
Rain cover for the Makki.
•
This Rain cover is only suitable for use on the
Makki cargo bikes of Royal Dutch Gazelle NV
•
Mount the Rain cover on the Makki as indicated in
the manual. Any deviation from the manual may
result in an unstable situation that could cause
injury.
•
When attaching the Rain cover ensure that all
mounting points are secure.
•
When attaching the Rain cover ensure that the
front lights and reflectors are not covered.
•
All connections should be checked before the first
assembly.
•
Take extreme weather conditions into account. Do
not cycle with a mounted Rain cover if the wind
force is above 6. It can adversely affect the riding
and steering behaviour.
•
Cycling with a mounted Rain cover can restrict the
view of the front of the bicycle.
•
Whenever cycling always secure children using
the supplied belts. The Rain cover is intended to
protect only against rain and wind.
•
Children should not pull on the Rain cover for
example when climbing in and out. This could lead
to tears or other defects.
•
The Rain cover is not intended to carry any weight.
Never place any objects on the Rain cover once
mounted in order to avoid damage.
•
In cold conditions, such as frost, the transparent
parts may become ‘brittle’. Therefore avoid any
direct strain.
•
It is forbidden to make any modifications to the
Rain cover .
