32 | Working with the Simulator

4.7 CHANGING PULSE RATE AND PULSE STRENGTH 

1. 

On the control box, turn the "Pulse Rate" 
knob clockwise to increase or counter-
clockwise to decrease the pulse rate. 

NOTE: The pulse rate can be set bewteen 
12-180 bpm. If a pulse rate of zero is 
desired, turn off the control box.

On the control box, turn the "Pulse Strength" 
knob clockwise to increase or counter-
clockwise to decrease the pulse strength.  

4.6 PULSE PALPATION 

Radial and brachial pulse palpation is supported.
