18 | Working with the Simulator

Airway Sounds

• The simulator can produce audible airway

sounds synchronized with his breathing.

• Use the software controls to change the

sound type and adjust the volume.

• Auscultate using a standard stethoscope.

2. Flush the tubing by inserting a mixture of

70:30 isopropyl alcohol and water.
