Compression
•
Perform chest compressions on the
simulator as you would a real patient.
•
Proper chest compressions result
in palpable carotid pulses.
•
Chest compressions are measured and logged in
the OMNI 2 software for debriefing purposes.
4.4 CIRCULATION
Palpable Pulses
•
Automatic bilateral carotid and femoral, and
left brachial and radial pulses can be palpated.
•
The simulator's pulses are dependent on
blood pressure, heart rate, and rhythm.
