for:
Adding
or
removing
the
Deck
anchor
and
Ground
Stakes
to
rope
sections
and
securing
an
umbrella
to
your
deck
(requires deck anchor items no. 6)
1)
Adding
the
Deck
Anchor
(To
secure
to
a
deck)
A.
Place
one
end
of
the
DA
‐
2002
deck
anchor
(item
6)
through
circular
loop
end.
B.
While
gripping
the
Deck
Anchor,
Pull
the
rope
looped
end
towards
the
circular
end
of
the
key
chain
type
split
ring,
pulling
it
until
it
snaps
fully
on
to
the
ring.

Rotate
the
rope
Loop
end
to
the
position
as
shown.
Pull
the
rope
looped
end
thru
the
circular
end
of
the
key
chain
type
split
ring,
pulling
it
until
it
snaps
fully
off
of
the
ring.

To
secure
to
Beach,
Yard,
desert
or
Gravel
A.
Place
one
end
of
the
ground
stake
through
the
loop
end.
B.
While
gripping
the
Ground
Stake,
Pull
the
rope
looped
end
thru
the
circular
end
of
the
key
chain
type
split
ring,
pulling
it
through
until
it
snaps
fully
on
to
the
ring.

Go

secure

umbrella
to
a
landscape.

With
a
Gator
Jawn
attached
to
your
umbrella,
using
only
the
bottom
pole,
Set
the
tip
of
an
umbrella
in
the
space
between
the
deck
boards.

Count
Two
or
three
gap
spaces
from
the
pole,
insert
the
Deck
Anchor
(step
3)
at
an
equal
distance
from
the
pole
center
for
each
side
(step
4
and
5)
*IMPORTANT
Lift
the
Gator
Jawn
AND
the
pole
upward
‐
it
will
self
‐
center.
The
Pole
MUST
be
aligned
with
the
deck
gap.
ALL
Anchor
lines
should
be
tight
,
re
‐
set
any
loose
rope
by
adjusting
Deck
Anchor
spacing.
C.
While
pulling
upward
on
the
Gator
Jawn
tightly,
loosen
the
wing
nuts,
and
push
the
pole
tip
into
the
deck
space
gap
or
to
the
surface
while
holding
upward
pressure
on
the
Gator
Jawn
making
all
the
Anchor
lines
tight!
Secure
wing
nuts
medium
‐
tight.
(pads
prevent
slippage,
do
not
over
tighten
wing
nuts)
D.
Make
any
adjustments
to
the
deck
anchor
spacing
if
needed.
E.
Attach
the
top
half
of
your
umbrella,
RELAX
and
ENJOY!

set
up
the
Gator
Jawn
at
either
the

making
sure
all
anchors
are
placed
using
the
same
space

Once
set
in
place,
ALL
lines
MUST
be
evenly
tight.
To
adjust,
Loosen
Gator
Jawn
and
pull
upward
hard
while
hold
pole
downward
and
tighten
wing
nuts.
TIP:
if
your
umbrella
is
missing
the
protective
tip,
place
a
non
‐
slip
item
such
as
a
furniture
foot
pad
under
the
pole
to
prevent
damage
to
your
deck
surface.
