Using Your Notebook
Connecting the modem
Your notebook came with a built-in V.90 56K modem and a telephone cable.
To connect the modem:

Insert one end of the telephone cable into the modem jack on the back
of the notebook.

Insert the other end of the telephone cable into any analog telephone
wall jack.
3
Turn on your notebook.
4
Start your communications software.
