Turn your notebook over so the bottom is facing up, then
remove the battery. For more information, see

“Changing batteries” on page 67

Loosen the three hard drive bay cover screws (these
screws cannot be removed).

Lift the hard drive bay cover, then remove it.

Remove the two screws connecting the hard drive to the
notebook.
