CHAPTER 4: Upgrading Your Computer

Unplug the cables connected to the card reader, and 
slide cables out of the clips that hold them down. Make 
note of the cable locations.

Remove the screw that secures the card reader to the 
computer, then remove the card reader.

6

Slide the new card reader into place, then secure it with 
the screw you removed previously.

7

Plug the appropriate cables into the card reader.

8

Place the top bezel on top of the computer, then slide the 
bezel toward the front of the computer until it clicks into 
place.

9

Reinstall the front bezel by following the instructions in 

“Replacing the front bezel” on page 38

.

10

Reinstall the side panels by following the instructions in 

“Replacing the side panels” on page 39

.
