Adding or replacing memory

Insert the new RIMM into the socket and align the two notches in the
RIMM with the two notches in the RIMM socket.

Gently press the RIMM into the socket until it is firmly seated. Inserting
the RIMM automatically locks each of the socket clamps on each end of
the RIMM.

Close the case (see “Closing the case” on page 19.)

Reconnect peripherals, the modem cord and the power cord, then turn
on the system.
