Replacing the LCD panel assembly

Remove the four screws on the bottom that secure the LCD panel hinge to the chassis.

Turn the convertible notebook over so the top is facing up.

Remove the hinge covers by following the instructions in

“Replacing the hinge covers”

.

Open the LCD panel to the fully open position.

Remove the keyboard cover by following the instructions in

“Replacing the keyboard

cover” on page 38

Caution

Be careful not to use too much force when opening the LCD panel.
