Cartridge slots and carousel

— The carousel stores as many as eight data

cartridges. The carousel consists of a drive chain, guides, and gears that
move the cartridges into position in front of the tape drive and make sure
that the cartridge is correctly aligned. You can use one cartridge slot to hold
a cleaning cartridge.
