Replacing and Adding Internal Devices
Installing a SCSI drive in the server
You do not need to configure individual drives before you install them in the
server.
To install a SCSI drive in the server:

Remove the empty drive carrier as described in “Removing an empty
drive carrier” on page 42.

Remove the four screws that secure the support bracket and front
assembly to the rails. The two screws that secure the front assembly are
threaded through small nuts. The nuts are not used when you install a
drive.
