Checklist for WideSpread Setup
As a final check to make sure all
adjustments have been made to the spreader to
achieve the 36m spread width, it is suggested
you follow the list that follows.
1. Feed Chain Covers fitted.
2. WideSpread Ctr Vee fitted.
3. Discharge opening set for product rate.
4. WideSpread spinners fitted.
5. Fin settings are set (1/C factory setting).
6. Spinner speed set.
7. Rear door opening set.
8. Calibration process completed.
Note: It is important that both the left and right
discharge settings are the same. Uneven
distribution may occur if the flow of product onto
the spinners is different one side to the other.

Spreading Rough Compost Materials
The Gason spreader can handle almost
any product you might like to spread. Even rough
compost products that may be contaminated
with stones or small hard objects can be spread
but Gason
’s suggest the operator purchase and
fit a Heavy Duty spinner option that is available
for your spreader. This will prevent damaging
your General Purpose spinners.
